Sigma Corporation is delighted to introduce its new 18-200 F3.5-6.3 DC lens. The high zoom ratio lens from Sigma is entirely planned for digital SLR cameras and is competent of covering an extensive range of focal lengths right from wide-angle to telephoto. The lens is supported by Two Special Low Dispersion (SLD) glass elements and two hybrid aspherical lenses which provide the extreme alteration for every kind of aberrations. The lens is designed in a compact and lightweight structure of 70mm (2.8”) diameter, and 78.1mm (3.1”) in length, it weights about 405g/14.3oz. 18-200 F3.5-6.3 DC lens integrates an inner focusing scheme averting the frontage of the lens from rotating, which again makes it mainly appropriate for using spherical polarizing filters and petal fashioned lens hoods. There is no word from Sigma about the costing and availability of this lens in the market. So stay tuned till our next updation.
