Smaller Cameras Full With Features – Olympus Takes a Look at 2009

Olympus is ready to launch new cameras in the upcoming year. We’re going to get different devices from what we’ve been used to see from Olympus.

It looks like the company wants to offer us a DSLR-like experience in a pocket camera. Who wouldn’t want that? The main reason for me to ignore that DSLR when looking for a camera is the size of it. The camera will come out sometime in 2009 and it will have lots of features too. Olympus will let us edit pictures straight from the camera. That could be useful when there’s no PC around although I’d think twice before consuming precious camera battery for editing jobs.

Olympus launched its Micro Four Thirds prototype at Photokina in Germany but we’re still far from the final product. Olympus’ portable yet smart 2009 camera is something we’d definitely want to see. Unfortunately we have to wait it out until the beginning of 2009 or so.
