Ricoh Americas Corporation received a “Five Star” rating overall rating from Buyers Laboratory Inc. (BLI) for GlobalScan™ 3.0 Document Capture and Routing System. The Buyers Laboratory Inc. (BLI) is one of the chief global providers of critical test reports and analysis on document imaging products. The GlobalScan 3.0 system has been optimized to handle substantial workflows in extreme paper-intensive environments.

GlobalScan was awarded for ease of use, documentation and enhanced security features. It integrates one touch scanning and routing to any location including files, folders or e mail accounts. Other functions include optical character recognition (OCR) capabilities, key differentiator authentication scheme, 128-bit data encryption and password protection.
