Mirasys Launches New NVR Pro Software

mirasys%20logo%2013-may.jpgMirasys, one of the world's leading providers of the open platform digital CCTV and video surveillance solutions, recently announced the availability of its new NVR (Network Video Recorder) software. Known as a multiple server and channel solution, Mirasys NVR Enterprise aims at medium and large companies for supporting up to 5000 IP cameras.

Mirasys NVR Pro comes packed with a series of features and functionalities like built-in modified RAID 0 for secure and non-fragmenting data recording. It allows you to record video from 50 channels, audio from 16 channels and text data from 32 channels per recorder. This product from Mirasys is in-fact the first one to integrate with the world’s first H.264 megapixel video surveillance cameras by Arecont Vision.

“We have invested extensively to ensure that our latest software offerings are easy and efficient to use, are extremely reliable and are flexible and scalable for future system expansions. The NVR range has all of these important attributes and is one of the best solutions in the market place right now, regardless of whether it is for a company making its first move into video surveillance, or a larger organisation upgrading its existing system.” said Jukka Riivari, chief executive officer of Mirasys.

Mirasys NVR Pro comes featuring a single-server video surveillance solution for recording of MJPEG and MPEG-4 video from 4 to 32 IP cameras. It also incorporates an advanced motion detection to adjust to continuous motion in the camera view. This new product from Mirasys supports a wide range of IP cameras and IP video servers.

Mirasys NVR Pro is available in the market at two different prices. Its 4-camera starter package is available at a price of 500 EUR, and its 32-camera system is available at a price of 4000 EUR.
