Nikon recently announced the availability of firmware version 2.00 for Nikon D3 flagship digital SLR with new improved features.

• Confirm the Vignette control setting in shooting information
  
• Improved auto focus and auto white balance performance
  
• Copyright information item is added to the setup menu
  
• Time Zone options have been improved with addition of Ankara, Riyadh, Kuwait, and Manamah in setup menu
  
• Adjust the aperture setting from computer when used in LiveView mode using Camera Control Pro 2
  
• Choose image area separated into two “Choose image area (FX / DX / 5:4)" and "Choose image area (FX / DX)"
  
• “My Menu” has been replaced by “Recent settings”
  
• "Choose image area" sees modification in FX-format icon
  
• Virtual Horizon is displayed in Liveview mode shooting
