Sony Cyber-shot DSC-G1 Camera Review

Cnet Asia have reviewed the Sony Cyber-shot DSC-G1 and they like it for its Wi-Fi connectivity; its 2GB built-in memory; interesting tagging functions; its decent image quality and its 3.5-inch screen. What they didn’t like was the fact that camera was heavy and the audio capabilities were average.

The innovative DSC-GI has a 6 megapixel resolution and has been equipped with a 3.5-inch LCD viewfinder screen without touch capabilities. However the most interesting feature of the camera is its wireless capabilities as the camera can share photos using 802.11b/g Wi-Fi with other cameras, PCs, and devices, which employ the Digital Living Network Alliance (DLNA) spec.

In the end they write “The Cyber-shot G1 is a fancy camera that throws in a few tricks that few cameras have included.”
