Sony Cybershot DSC T70 Camera Review–This One, Not So Much

Sony is proving to be a little bit tricky in its camera lineup.  I’ve tried several models of Sony now, and while many of them are excellent, some of them are, well, not so excellent. This is one of the latter.

The Sony Cybershot DSC T70, today’s Sony of choice, is a eight megapixel camera with a 3x optical zoom, Memory Stick compatibility, face detection systems that can recognize up to eight faces in one shot and the double anti-blur solution that manages to compensate for both your shaking and your subject’s shaking.

While I loved that little flip-down panel in front of the camera, and thought that’d make a really great protection measure to help improve its portability scores, I had a hard time in general using this one.  Just trying to figure out the menus was a bit of a challenge.  This one’s definitely a better camera for the advanced user than the new guy, so bear that in mind when you’re going camera shopping.
