Sony Cybershot H55 Camera Review–Great Package at Good Price
We were calling it “recently announced” back in February, and now I’ve got a look at the Sony Cybershot H55, a camera that has plenty to offer and at a pretty good price.
The Sony Cybershot H55 is a fourteen megapixel camera that offers a 10x optical zoom and augmenting 2x digital zoom, a three inch LCD display, the BIONZ image processor, face motion detection, a variety of scene and white balance modes, nine point autofocus, video shooting capability, a burst shooting mode, forty five megs of onboard memory, USB port, direct printing capability and included editing software.
About the only bad thing you can say about the Sony H55 is that it leans a bit too much toward the small and compact size. Just a bit, mind you–if you have smaller hands you’re not really likely to even notice the difference, but I’m a big guy so this kind of thing is clear to me. But there’s plenty of great options, the resolution doesn’t get much higher in basic cameras like this, and the price isn’t even too bad. Best Buy’s offering this fella up at two hundred twenty five bucks.
A really good camera at a price that’s not too far off the base? That’s a pretty good value no matter how you consider it. The Sony Cybershot H55 offers a lot of great features in a small and simple package.
