Sony Cybershot W180 Review–A Good Starter Model
Sometimes what you need most out of life is a simple digital camera. Nothing too big nor too fancy. But you need it to work, work well, and not get in its own way the way more complex models do, then the Sony Cybershot W180 should be just what you need.
The Sony Cybershot W180 is a ten megapixel camera that comes in several colors (which doesn’t mean it’s a bad camera, as some posit). It also offers a 3X SteadyShot zoom and a 2.7 inch LCD screen. face detection, and the “smile shutter” system that captures a smile when it happens.
It’s a decent enough camera, though it has the usual significant problem that so often happens with smaller cameras–the buttons are tough to use as they’re pretty small. This can pose some trouble for users with larger fingers.
The Sony Cybershot W180 is, however, a fairly solid model that should meet most users’ needs, and at a list price of a hundred and twenty nine dollars, it makes for a great model for folks just beginning in digital photography.
