Sony DPF-D82 Digital Photo Frame Review–Better Than the D72

Another Sony to cover today, folks–we caught the Sony DPF-D72N yesterday, so today we’re going to upgrade to the Sony DPF-D82. And as it turns out, it’ll be just a little bit bigger, and a little bit better than its slightly smaller predecessor.

The Sony DPF-D82 is an eight inch WVGA digital photo frame with an LCD display, a gig of onboard memory, compatibility with several different varieties of memory cards, automatic image rotation, an alarm, a search function, slideshow display, and clock and calendar display modes.

I really liked this frame–it may not have a whole lot in the way of features, but it does do a great job of showing off your photos, and it’ll do it inside a frame that actually looks really nice. Considering that you can get this out at Amazon for a hundred and three bucks, you’ll be doing pretty well. So if you’re in the market for a new digital photo frame, spare a thought for the Sony DPF-D82, slightly better than its smaller predecessor and priced accordingly.
