The recently announced Sony DSC-H55 Cyber-shot compact digital camera is a high-end imaging device. Designed to offer high speed, high zoom, outstanding low-light performance and Intelligent Sweep Panorama mode, the camera comes integrated with 25mm wide-angle and 10x optical zoom lens. The camera is sure to fulfill your demands for enhanced distance shots.

The 14.1 megapixel CCD sensor of the camera will let you capture panoramic shots and view photos on its three-inch Clear Photo LCD screen. The camera features 720p movie recording and supports Optical SteadyShot image stabilization with Active Mode. Capable of HD movie recording, the camera supports self portrait timer and Smile Shutter technology. The memory card slot of the camera is compatible with both Memory Stick and SD/SDHC formats.

Available in a choice of black and silver, the H55 camera will cost about $250. It is scheduled to hit the market by April 2010.
