Sony DSC S980 Camera Review–I’m Starting to Hate The Whole Line

I’m beginning to hate the entire Sony DSC lineup, because every time I get my hands on one I’m frustrated to the point of obscenities by these hard to use, clunky cameras that make way too many odd beeping noises at the worst possible times.  Today’s victim is the Sony DSC S980, and it’s no exception.

Before we start in, yes, there are three different color options with this one, and one of those options is pink, so this can join in on the color choice debate, and on the side of “it’s a bad camera”.  The Sony DSC S980 is a twelve megapixel camera with a 4x optical zoom, face detection, and image stabilization.

I frankly hated this camera as I’ve hated most every member of the DSC lineup.  Something about this camera has fought me tooth and nail since I started trying them, and this one is no exception.  Maybe you’ll have an easier time of it than I did, but I couldn’t stand this camera–and since they’re asking two hundred and ten bucks for it, I can’t help but refuse to recommend it.
