Sony DSC W290 Camera Review–A Solid Value Camera
Sometimes cameras, even digital cameras, aren’t really a big deal. There’s nothing really outstanding about them either way, but you can still get a good value out of them. The Sony DSC W290 is a perfect example of a camera just like that.
The Sony DSC W290 is a twelve megapixel camera with a 5X optical zoom, with eleven megs of onboard memory and the ability to take video in 720p resolution.
It’s a nice enough camera, with a good button layout and a light, small design. But the best part is, despite its light, small frame, the buttons are all still accessible and easy to use. This isn’t always the case with a small camera–some of them have very tiny buttons that are hard to press. But this is not one of those cameras.
Overall, this is a nice quality camera that really isn’t particularly spectacular but provides a solid value. If you actually decide to pick one of these up–you can actually pick one up used on Amazon for just under two hundred bucks–you should be plenty satisfied.
