Sony has recently announced the release of their latest firmware update for their DSLR-A700 in Europe and other regions around the world. The DSLR-A700 camera firmware update is expected to exhibit improvement in image sharpness and is said to diminish noise for photographs taken at ISO 3200. The firmware also perks up flash control at short distances with non-ADI control lenses.

The Firmware update is compatible with operating systems, Microsoft® Windows® 2000, Microsoft® Windows® XP, Microsoft® Windows® XP MCE, Microsoft® Windows® 2000 with Service Pack 4, Microsoft® Windows Vista® Home Basic, Microsoft® Windows Vista® Home Premium, Microsoft® Windows Vista® Business, and Microsoft® Windows Vista® Ultimate.
