SONY EXPANDS DIGITAL PHOTO FRAME LINE-UP

Sony has recently expanded its digital photo frame line-up with two new models. The new 10-inch and 8-inch digital photo frames are capable of delivering SVGA resolution of 800 x 600 pixels along with a 4:3 aspect ratio. DPF-D100 or the 10-inch model and DPF-D80 or the 8-inch model can easily transfer digital photos using a USB Cable.

“These digital photo frames offer a great way to enjoy and share photos,” said Koba Kobayashi, marketing director for digital imaging accessories in the Digital Imaging Division at Sony Electronics. “Industry demand for digital photo frames is still growing, and consumers are looking for quality products from trusted brands like Sony.”

The new Sony DPF-D100 and DPF-D80 digital photo frames can support various memory cards like Compact Flash, SD Memory Card, Memory Stick PRO and MMC. Both these frames come with a capacity to store up to 100MB or 48 mega pixels. Sony’s DPF-D100 is expected to be available in the market from November 2008 at a price of $ 280, while Sony’s DPF-D80 is currently available at a price of $ 180.
