Sony HandyCam HDR-XR106



Sony unveils another HD handy camcorder with the Sony HandyCam HDR-XR106. This new camera is capable of filming with a resolution of 1920×1080 and save almost 10 hours of captures videos on any hard drive. It features an automated startup when opening the 2.7″ LCD screen, a function named Easy ON .

Though a bit low-end since the resolution of images taken can be practically similar to what high profile camera phones can do, this camera can be considered by people who want a startup camcorder although one bright spot is its 80GB capacity.

It retails for about $1,000 in the market.
