Back in January, I had posted about the launch of the Sony HDR-XR520 Handy Camera. That same camera has been officially released in the Middle East today, offering a new HD camera loaded with premium features.

The Sony HDR-XR520 can store up to 101 hours of video with its 240GB hard disk drive. It likewise comes with a back illuminated Exmor R CMOS and BIONZ image processor that should boost its overall efficiency, particularly for people who want a no nonsense handy camera for use.

The Sony camcorder is now available at Jumbo Electronics and all major retail consumer stores in the Middle East courtesy of Sony Gulf.
