Sony HVR-Z5E: New HVR Camcorder with Fixed G Lens
Sony has proudly introduced its new HVR-Z5E compact camcorder. It boasts of new fixed “G Lens” system, native high-end recording competence, improved sensitivity and a wide range of awesome features. It is especially intended for general TV production, videographers, as well as budget movie-producers.
The new Sony HVR Z5E camcorder incorporates 1.3-inch 3 ClearVid CMOS Sensor™ system, improved by Exmor™ technology. The integrated latest technologies enhance the performance of the camcorders even in dark environments along with sensitivity of 1.5 lux.
“The ongoing development of the HYBRID concept really excites me,” added Drummond. “The ability to use any Sony professional HDV or DVCAM camcorder automatically gives customers the choice to move to tapeless on their terms. Backwards compatibility has always been a design goal for Sony, plus protecting customer’s investment in products. This product is a great demonstration that we are listening.”
The integrated “G Lens” provides a large 29.5mm angle lens and brand new 20 x optical zoom, three ND filters and an independent focus, zoom and iris rings for better and effective act. It is also packed with new XtraFine™ LCD and XtraFine EVF to deliver high-resolution and high-quality images with superb color reproduction.
The Sony HVR ZE5 camcorder is expected to be available in December.
