Recently, Sony Electronics launched its new line of high-definition studio cameras and multi-format production switchers. Among these new cameras is Sony HXC-100 Studio Camera that has been designed to let the broadcasters enjoy a high quality in HD production.

The new HXC-100 Studio Camera from the house of Sony delivers high-quality SD and HD images without any compromise. It comes featuring a 2/3 inch Power HAD FX CCD with 2.2 millions pixels. This new camera is switchable between 1080i and 720P 50/60 Hz. This new camera is compatible with many Sony viewfinders like HDVF-200, HDVF-C35W, HDVF-550, HDVF-20A and HDVF-C950W.

Auto Iris with multi-zone weighting is one of the interesting features of Sony HXC-100 Studio Camera. It comes with a fully operational remote control and master set-up units. Sony HXC-100 Studio Camera is expected to be available in May 2009 at a price of $45,900.
