Sony Launches "Webbie HD" Cameras
Sony’s new stylish cameras are doing their best in defining social networking with a range of great functions. The new Sony Webbie HD cameras enable you to capture and upload MP4 videos and still photos with ease directly onto the Web. The two new cameras of this series are the MHS-CM1 and MHS-PM1.
“Webbie HD cameras are perfect for youth culture, who love to share moments on social networks as they happen,” said Kelly Davis, director of camcorder marketing at Sony Electronics. “It’s exciting to see these new customers embracing video to share their experiences and we’ve expanded our camcorder line to meet their needs.”
Both Webbie HD Cameras can deliver 5 mega pixel still photos and high definition videos of 1440 x 1080/30p resolution. They come with embedded software making uploading content online easy. The MHS-CM1 sports a 2.5-inch LCD and a 5x optical zoom, while the MHS-PM1 comes fitted with a rotating swivel lens with a 4x digital zoom. MHS-CM1 is available from today priced at $200, while the MHS-PM1 will be available from April 2009 for $170.
