Sony is pleased to announce its latest Party-Shot IPT-DS1 personal photographer, an innovative camera dock. The camera dock comes with the ability to pan 360 degrees and tilt 24 degrees. Plus, it automatically detects faces, adjusts composition and takes photos for you.

Compatible with the DSC-WX1 and DSC-TX1 Cyber-Shot digital cameras, the Party-Shot camera accessory uses the camera’s BIONZ image processor with its Face Detection and Smile Shutter features to take photos without the need to snap the shutter button. The camera dock is portable as well as mountable on nearly any tripod and can be set up in any convenient location. With the Party-Shot camera accessory, you can now capture the candid moments of you and your family without hiring a photographer.

The Party-Shot camera accessory will be available at Sony Style retail stores and other authorized dealers nationwide in September for about $150. It is already at pre-orders.
