Sony, a global leader in manufacturing world-class digital and electronic products, is in news again for releasing new lenses. Sony has in fact brought out not 1 but 4 new compact lenses along with a super slim external flash and some color coordinated lifestyle accessories.

Sony’s new SAL50F18 is a bright portrait lens that provides a superb optical performance even to the first time DSRL users. It comes featuring a wide F1.8 aperture that is ideal for taking beautiful portraits. DT 18-55mm, F3-5.6 SAM, DT 55-200mm and F4-5.6 SAM are the other lenses launched by Sony.

Sony’s DT 18-55mm F3.5-5.6 SAM is a telephoto zoom that is just perfect for everyday shooting. The other two zooms launched by Sony offer a smooth AF operation with their in-built Smooth Autofocus Motor (SAM).
