Sony Showcases UP-DR80MD Full Page Compact Printer
Sony, a well-known electronic maker, introduced its new UP-DR80MD Full Page Compact Printer at the Radiological Society of North America Conference. Considered as an ideal choice of printer for ultrasound applications, this printer provides excellent image quality and ease-of-use with low cost of ownership.
“This compact, reliable printer is ideal for physicians who need to combine multiple ultrasound images on a single page for referring physicians,” said Julie Holodak, product marketing manager for Sony Electronics. “This medical-grade device can provide centralized or cart based printing as an alternative to non-medical ink jet printers which are typically very costly to operate.”
The new UP-DR80MD Full Page Compact Printer from the house of Sony prints at a true resolution of 310 dpi. It is capable of supporting Windows 2000, XP and Vista Operating Systems. Priced at $ 1,999.00, this printer can be easily connected to a PC or to an USB interfaced device.
