Sony has decided it was time to launch a new digital photo frame and as you must be already guessing, the new DPP-F700 is not just another simple digiframe. The new product brings extra features to the table, although we mostly want photo frames to simply show us a simple slideshow of our latest photos.

So the DPP-F700 also acts as a printer. Sure you won’t be able to print more than 4 x 6-inch 300×300 dpi photos but that’s good enough if you’re in a hurry. Add some TruFast capabilities and Sony might just have something there. Other features include a 16:10 WVGA 7-inch screen, 1GB of memory space, support for most available memory cards and some editing functions like rotate, zoom and crop.

The DPP-F700 will retail starting with November for $290. Will you get it?
