With IFA now in full swing, there are a lot of cool devices being introduced right and left. Sony is announcing new new camcorders with the Handycam DCR-SX15E and DCR-SR15E.

Both of these models have 50x optical zoom lenses, automatic Face Detection, SteadyShot image stabilization, a 2.7-inch clear photo LCD display as well as a tiny thumb-operated joystick for better control.

The DCR-SX15E runs on a memory stick or SD card, while the DCR-SR15E has up to 61 hours of Standard Definition video in the 80GB hard drive.

These models will be on sale sometime next month, but there is no word of a price as yet.
