Sony Updates PCS-XG80 1080i High-Definition Videoconferencing System



370x251 Sony Electronics has finally updated its PCS-XG80 1080i High-Definition VideoConferencing System with latest features. The updated version 2.03 of this device from the house of Sony will incorporate compatibility with the MPEG-4-AAC-LD and MPEG4-AAC-LC audio formats. It will also include HD video transmission capabilities at narrow bandwidths.

Sony’s updated PCS-XG80 1080i High-Definition Videoconferencing System will also support existing and emerging videoconferencing applications like immersive, room and personal HD 3D telepresence and broad-scale desktop video collaboration. Providing the user with an in-built Quality of Service (Intelligent QoS), this updated system will maintain a connection even in low bandwidth conditions.

The updated version 2.03 of Sony’s PCS-XG80 1080i High-Definition Videoconferencing System features six-site multipoint conferencing to enable the user to call up to five other remote sites to simultaneously meet and support over 23 different languages. This new 2.03 version is priced at $8,999.
