Sony has announced the launch of its latest VAIO VGF-CP1U Digital Photo Frame. It has a built-in Wi-Fi b/g networking. The CP1U features a 7-inch 800 x 480 display, 128MB of internal memory along with an option of memory card reader compatible with Memory Stick, SD and CF and a USB port.

This display also exhibits RSS feed. Music lovers can play MP3s or SHOUTcast streaming radio on its built-in speakers. Another distinguishing feature of this DPF is that it has the ability to display photos from four Google Picasa web albums.

If you wish to view the headlines of interest, switch on the scrolling RSS ticker-tape and view them in the photo frame’s built-in Opera Lite browser. Sony VAIO VGF-CP1U Digital Photo Frame with remote control is expected to be available October at an SRP of $299.
