Sony, a global leader in manufacturing electronic and digital products, is in news for the Sony World Photography Awards 2010. These awards are open for entries from June 1^st, 2009. It has categories in both professional as well as in amateur photographers.

Considered as one of the world’s largest photographic events, Sony World Photography Awards 2010 is a perfect platform for establishing and recognizing various deserving photographers. In 2009, this award competition attracted over 60,000 participants from 0ver 135 countries.

Sony World Photography Awards 2010 will feature 12 different categories across three different genres, including; fine art, commercial and photojournalism. The winner of the prestigious Sony World Photography Awards 2010 will win $25,000 along with a Sony Camera Equipment.
