Sony has unveiled the new Sony Cyber-Shot DSC-W300 digital camera, touting it as one of the industry's most pocketable high-resolution camera. The Sony Cyber-Shot DSC-W300 is a 13.6-megapixel camera with Carl Zeiss Vario-Tessar 3x optical zoom lens. It also has an eye-level viewfinder and a 2.7-inch LCD screen. The model has a titanium coating making it scratch and finger-print resistant. The DSC-W300 has and “extra high-speed” burst mode which allows you to take successive 3-megapixel pics at 5 fps. It also features the Super SteadyShot optical image stabilization for blur reduction, Sony’s Smile Shutter technology, 12 scene selection modes, and Sony’s new D-Range Optimizer Plus which improves picture details. The Sony Cyber-shot DSC-W300 will be available in May for a MSRP of US$350. You can buy it in Sony Style Retail stores.
