Sony Cyber-shot DSC-W80 Digital Camera
Another camera from the over active stables of Sony is the 7.2 megapixels Sony Cyber-shot DSC-W80. The new digicam is actually a successor of the W70 and I find it strange that they didn't bother to increase the resolution a notch!
The Sony Cyber-shot DSC-W80 is ideal for point and shoot photography and even first time users. The digicam has a 3x optical zoom and 2.5-inch LCD to its credit which is pretty standard fare. The camera measures around 91 x 58 x 23-mm and ISO sensitivity is about 3200.Image quality, flash, exposure compensation, macro, and self-timer are some useful function.
One can record VGA-resolution, 30fps MPEG-1 movies that play in Windows Media Player or QuickTime and the burst shooting at full resolution is limited to 4 frames at about 1.4fps.The new digicam by Sony also includes features like; 2.5" LCD , D-arrange Optimize, MPEG VX Fine, Face Detection and Sony Super Steady Shot. The former helps in taking portraits and focussing on faces automatically where as the later combats image shake and camera blur.
