The first thing you notice about the new Sony Cyber-Shot T100 is its ultra cool brushed metal casing and slim ergonomics. The digicam measures 22.3mm thin and includes a sliding cover to protect the 5x zoom lens. The T100 is available in colors like brushed silver,f red, black or chic red.

Representing both style and functionality, the Sony Cyber-Shot T100 has a 2.5 inch Super HAD CCD sensor with a resolution of 8.1 effective megapixels and is also the first T-Series Cyber-shot camera to include a 5x Carl Zeiss Vario-Tessar® lens. One doesn't have to worry about image blur as the digicam includes Sony’s Double Anti-blur technology, which teams image stabilization with an extremely high sensitivity of ISO 3200 (REI*).

Then there is the new Sony Face Detection technology which in conjunction with BIONZ imaging processor picks up faces form the crowd and focuses on them and adjusts exposure, flash with red-eye reduction, white balance and colour settings accordingly.

Users will dig the super-large 3-inch Clear Photo LCD plus screen and you can also hook the camera to any BRAVIA television or HD ready display (requires optional cable) and Slide Shows with music can be enjoyed in 16:9 widescreen format.Bundled accessories include Picture Motion Browser Ver 2.0 software for easy image management; wrist strap; rechargeable battery and charger; and USB/DC?in/AV-out multi cable.

Some other features found on the T100 include; in-camera retouching features like; soft focus filter, cross filter, part colour filter and fish-eye filter effects.28MB internal memory, MPEG Movie VX (VGA 30fps movie mode with audio), STAMINA battery life up to 340 shots (CIPA standard with LCD screen on) and PictBridge compatibility.

The Cyber-shot T100 will be available throughout Europe from the beginning of March 2007.
