Sony debuts IP based SNC-DM110, SNC-CM120 and SNC-DM160 cameras
Sony recently launched its three IP-based cameras SNC-DM110, SNC-CM120 and SNC-DM160 during IFSEC 2008. Based on Sony ExwavePRO™ Technology and Light Funnel Function, the cameras suffice needs of current security industry. Integrated Intelligent Motion Detection function and Distributed Enhanced Processing Architecture technology makes all of them versatile.
“ExwavePRO and Light Funnel technologies give Sony's fixed-type megapixel cameras the capability to output extremely clear and detailed images that deliver bright, high-resolution in even the most challenging lighting environments,” explained Simon Nash, Senior European Marketing Manager, NVM/CCTV.
Enjoy good quality pictures with enhanced light sensitivity, thanks to colour filter technology. The SNC-DM160/110 cameras offer a resolution of 1280 x 960 over 100 degrees. Lens of both the cameras can be freely rotated in any direction. An integrated heater and vandal-resistant polycarbonate dome in SNC-DM160 offer IP66 ingress protection. All cameras feature microphone input and line out with POE apart from 16 preset modes. However, the SNC-CM120 boasts 1/3” color progressive scan imager.
Even in dim light environment, you can use Night Mode setting and attain a clear image. You can save output in JPEG and MPEG4 format at 30fps. Though price is kept hidden, but it will be worth the features incorporated.
