Sony DSC-S700
Sony also updated their portfolio by adding two new digicams in the Sony S Series. First in line is the Sony Cyber-shot DSC-S700 which is 7.2 megapixel point and shoot digicam with a bunch of nifty features. The S700 is ideal for the amateur and the semi-adavcne users.
The Sony-Cyber-shot DSC S700 digital camera sports an elegant under-stated look and is available in Silver. One comes across a 2.4 inch LCD and a 3x Optical zoom Carl Zeiss(R) Vario-Tessar lens. For combatting image shake and other photography nightmares, Sony has thrown in technologies like; Blur Image Technology and Sony's Clear RAW(TM) noise reduction technology which helps reduce picture noise common to low-light exposures.
The DSC S700 storage capacities can be expanded further with an optional 4GB Duo media cards and one can take about 460 shots on a full charge of the S700. Both auto-exposure and auto-focus features work fast so you get the picture right the first time. First time users will also appreciate the function guide and resolution guide which display a simple text explanation on the LCD. The S700 ships in March for about $180.
