Sony S800 Digital Camera
Sony recently unveiled its latest digicam, the Sony Cyber-Shot S800 and lets see whats it about. The new Sony Cyber-Shot S800 has a 8 megapixel resolution and sports a 6x zoom lens. Weighing around 185g (without battery and media), this one too like all Sony cameras sports a sleek form factor.
The Sony Cyber-Shot S800 is housed in all metal casing and 6x optical zoom lens can be boosted to 12x with digital zoom. One can also focus down to 2cm in Macro Mode and 1/1.8?inch Super HAD CCD sensor promises "crisp, clear images that still look great even when enlarged to A4 sized prints." The digicam has been equipped with a 2.5-inch TFT LCD screen and one-touch Direct Playback button that switches straight to Playback mode.
Other features include; NiMH AA battery pack which is capable of 390 shots between charges, 54MB of internal memory , Memory Stick Duo / Memory Stick PRO Duo removable media support, PictBridge, SO 1250 high sensitivity (REI) and 16:9 mode for playback on a widescreen TV. The Cyber-shot S800 will be available throughout Europe from end of May 2007 and will be available to pre order at www.sonystyle-europe.com.
