Sony recently released its latest SR8E Video Camera looking at the increasing demand of camcorders in the market. The flagship model resembles Sony’s SR7E model. The SR8E features Sony's latest 1/2.9in CMOS, 6.1 Mpixel and video capture at full resolution of 1,440 x 1,080. The latter is how Sony manages to claim 6.1 Mpixel stills for the SR8E. No word on the price or availability of the Sony SR8E Camera. However, when there are 7MP cameras in market, why would one opt out for this model?
