Gotta give it to Sony. The company always manage to come up with great looking products and the new Sony Cyber-Shot T20 is no exception. The digicam boasts of a highly chic form factor and reeks of sophistication. The new T20 is not just a pretty face and has features like a 8.1MP resolution, High Definition, Full HD 1080 output for displaying still images on a HD TV and a 2.5-inch Clear Photo LCD plus screen, to its credit.

The Sony Cyber-Shot T20 has been equipped with a Carl Zeiss Vario-Tessar® 3x optical zoom lens and one also comes across the new Sony Face Detection technology. The Face Detection Technology in conjunction with BIONZ imaging processor picks up faces form the crowd and focuses on them and adjusts exposure, flash with red-eye reduction, white balance and colour settings accordingly.

With Double Anti-blur technology and high sensitivity of ISO 3200 (REI*), the T20 ensures beautiful imagery according to Sony. One also comes across the a Dynamic Range Optimiser (DRO) technology which automatically adjusts contrast and exposure – even with tricky back-lit scenes and other ‘problem’ shots. One can also hook the camera to any BRAVIA television or HD ready display (requires optional cable) and Slide Shows with music can be enjoyed in 16:9 widescreen format.

Some other features found on the T20 include; in-camera retouching features like; soft focus filter, cross filter, part colour filter and fish-eye filter effects.28MB internal memory, MPEG Movie VX (VGA 30fps movie mode with audio), STAMINA battery life up to 350 shots (CIPA standard with LCD screen on) and PictBridge compatibility.
