Sony has recently added one more member in its HD Camera lineage with the introduction of its Sony XDCAM HD422. The camera gives full HD quality and supports 50Mbps MPEG HD recordings. Furthermore the camera has got the ability to record about 43 minutes at 50Mbps on a Single layer Professional Disc and has also got the capability to record 100 minutes on the new Dual layer Disc. Since the much hyped XDCAM had been launched few years back and has shared its huge success users have a lot of expectation to this new XDCAM HD422 in regard to the picture quality which is an addition in the same series.
