Sony’s EX3 prototype 3D camcorder spotted



When the thought of making a 3D movie comes to mind so does the thought of a ridiculous budget with all sorts of high tech cameras. Well, it seems that Sony is looking to do away with that instead putting the ability to make 3D movies into the hands of the consumer with their EX3 prototype 3D camera.

According to Engadget, this prototype is essentially 2 PMW-EX3 studio camcorders smashed into one, making for the 3D effect.

Unfortunately there is no word of when we will be seeing this camera or at what price point.
