Speed Camera Creator Gets Awards, Prosetylizes Wildly

I guess a sort of omniscience comes your way when you’re an award winner like James Tuton, recently-named CEO of the year for his work with American Traffic Solutions, Inc.  Has to be…after all, he could say this with a straight face:

“From the outside, what many people see is the fury over speed cameras,” he said from ATS headquarters at the Scottsdale Airpark. “But the reality is, we have wide support from the silent majority. We wouldn’t be growing if we didn’t.”

So…wait.  They don’t say anything, so you assume they support you?  Well holy cow.  If that’s the case then I should be Emperor of the World right now because absolutely no one’s challenging it!  It takes some spectacular hubris–probably sufficient of the kind that comes from winning an award like “CEO of the Year”–to declare that just because most people aren’t saying anything means they’re your supporters.

And I don’t suppose it’s possible that you’re growing because of teensy-tinsy factions of local governments with more hubris than brains themselves (wow, sounds familiar, huh?) that buy from your company in a bid to raise local revenues, huh?

No, you’re an award winning CEO!  Surely your word is non-stop truth instead of ill-informed egomaniacal garbage.
