Spider Pill Camera May Change Endscopy Procedures

Medical technology may be in for a big boost once again with a new kind of “pill” that should address medical procedures pertaining to Endoscopy procedures. X-rays and other medical imaging technologies have limitations and among them include seeing what is going inside your body, particularly your stomach. But now here is a pill you can swallow, the Spider Pill, which should help pinpoint health concerns for patients.

It is a wireless communicating robot which can be swallowed by patients. After it is in your body, it positions itself to monitor problems inside the human body. It is sort of like having a camera in your body. Now the only problem is on whether people would have the guts to swallow it! Check out the video here.
