Swann Security just released a new mini digital camera called the ThumbCam. It’s a small video camera made to create clear, 720×480 pixel color AVI files. You can record videos manually or switch to the sound activated recording mode if you want to operate the device hands-free. The ThumbCam features an internal, rechargeable lithium ion battery that lasts for 60 minutes and it can be recharged through a USB port.

Furthermore, the mini digital camera also comes with a 2GB microSD memory card, silicon cover, USB cable, wall, magnetic and belt brackets, software CD and operating instructions. Using a 2GB SD card will give you 40 additional minutes of recording time while upgrading to a 8GB SD card provides 160 extra minutes.
