T-Mobile Has a Cameo Digital Photo Frame

Well that’s something new! I thought T-Mobile was into phones but not photography. Sure they do sell lots of camera phones and with their newly deployed 3G network they might be trying to make some more money off of that whole sharing pictures online thing. Oh, wait a minute. Is this what this is all about?
T-Mobile has a Cameo digital photo frame ready for you. It was announced as the Parrot DF7700 in October 2007 but since than lots of things have changed. The camera will display 7-inch digital photos in a 720 x 480 resolution. You can load pictures via a regular card slot and via MMS or email. And thus my previous point. The Cameo hasa a built-in cellular modem. That means that besides the initial $100 cost, the Cameo will cost about $10 per month in order to keep it updated from your cell phone. Is this really what you need?
