As we see the continued evolution of integrating cameras with various stuff these days, Tachyon offers the Tachyon XC and XC 3D helmet cameras which allow you to record activities which you feel the world should see. Now officially shipping, the only difference between these helmet cams is that one has two cameras which seems to look like a robot head in one of those old sci-fi movies we all love to watch.

The Tachyon XC helmet cam runs on AA batteries and saves captured media to a SDHC card. The Tachyon XC model retails for $180 while the XC 3D model costs $380. Both are now being officially shipped.
