Photosimile 5000 perfect for product shots
Photosimile 5000 is a very interesting device that allows the user to take simple shots of a product by putting them into a device that is part copier, part scanner, part turntable, and all simple to use.
Go ahead and watch the video to see it in action, but it uses 4 symmetical 6500K bulbs to get the proper lighting, and a Canon Digital Rebel DSLR for the shots. With the turntable inside, you can have some terrific Flash animations for a 3D look at the product itself. Unfortunately, Ortery, the company that makes the product does not have a price as yet.
