Canon A480 Camera Review–A Fairly Ordinary Camera
The Canon A480 camera is easily the most unassuming camera I’ve come in contact with yet. On the surface, it looks like just another camera, and there are a whole lot sexier models of camera out there. But hidden beneath this somewhat dumpy exterior is a whole pile of surprises waiting to strike.
See, the Canon A480, a Powershot, more specifically, is a ten megapixel camera with a 3.3x optical zoom, a two and a half inch LCD flatscreen, a DIGIC III image processor, face detection, motion detection and red eye controls.
And all of this is contained inside a package that’s thicker, heavier, and bigger than the ordinary. It looks like the clunkiest, kludgiest thing ever released onto an unsuspecting market, but surprise! It’s actually an incredible value, especially considering that it only retails for a hundred and thirty bucks.
If you want a camera that looks like you have all the design sense of certain breeds of gerbil but secretly contains a value far greater than mere rubies, then the Canon A480 is just the camera you’re after.
