Pentax unveils another cool camera, something that should get the attention of photographers mainly through its ability to zoom up to 26X. The Pentax X90 picks up from last year’s X70 and features a 12.1 megapixel sensor. The zoom lens spans a 26mm wide angle to 676mm super telephoto.

Other features of the Pentax X90 include a 2.7” LCD and can even take HD videos. Other features include face detection, triple shake reduction, anti-shake, an electronic viewfinder, Eye-Fi compatibility and a HDMI interface with USB 2.0 port. No word on official release but you can pre-order the Pentax X90 12.1 MP Digital Camera with 26x Super-Telephoto Triple Shake Stabilized Zoom for $399.95 over at Amazon.com
