Konica Minolta Reveals New Products and Technologies

A few days ago, Konica Minolta had announced the bizhub Pro 950 to headline its new products and solutions for 2009. Apparently that was just the tip of the iceberg as Konica Minolta has announced the company will highlight their latest products and technologies at the 2009 ON DEMAND Conference and Exposition in Philadelphia, PA this week (March 31-April 2).
Among the other products in their lineup included:
- bizhub PRO C65hc – With vivid color quality, the bizhub PRO C65hc (which stands for High Chroma toner) incorporates innovative new toner technology enabling it to produce the highest chroma color gamut of any four-color device in the marketplace. The unprecedented spectrum of color caters to graphics professionals and print shops that require higher quality output. Advertising agencies, graphics arts firms, creative design studios, direct mail organizations, photography studios, and commercial artists all stand to benefit from using the bizhub PRO C65hc.
- bizhub PRO C6501 – A total solution for high-quality, cost-efficient digital color production, the bizhub PRO C6501 system is designed for high-volume production, and to make on-demand color print runs cost-effective for any sized business.
- bizhub PRO 2500P –The industry’s most productive monochrome print system for very high volume duplex applications – up to 15,000 prints per hour, with 13,800-sheet paper capacity and unmatched registration accuracy.
- bizhub PRO 1200 – Next-generation monochrome print system, the bizhub PRO 1200 is a 120 ppm system due to launch in Summer 2009. The bizhub PRO 1200 will be previewed along with Konica Minolta’s extensive array of finishing technology.
- Office Color and Monochrome MFPs – With their compact and cost-effective design, Konica Minolta’s award-winning line of bizhub office MFPs deliver high-speed output, low-cost operation and all-in-one functionality for small- to mid-sized business departments and workgroups.
- bEST Developer Support Program – The bizhub Extended Solution Technology (bEST) Program is designed to provide customers with integrated, innovative solutions, and accelerate the time to the marketplace. During ON DEMAND, Konica Minolta and early members in the program will promote their partnerships which will provide a substantial boost to end-user productivity and software ease-of-use for customers’ Konica Minolta print systems.
- PS7000C MKII – A superior system for color scanning and digitizing, the PS7000C MKII scanner for books is perfect for large-sized books and other bound materials, with face-up scanning that protects valuable originals. Also featured will be Image DIVA software, which enables even first-time users to scan and print at the touch of a button, with touch-screen control, scan mode selection, image zoom and print preview.
- Printgroove – In light production printing, CRD and small to mid-size print shop applications, Printgroove is the key to greater output power and increased satisfaction for customers and corporate clients. It can accept input in any format, including text, graphics, photos, even presentations and multimedia. And it can be configured to fit your workflow like a glove, handling rising traffic volume and accommodating as many printing steps and stations as your business processes demand. At ON DEMAND, Konica Minolta will showcase the newest Printgroove modules including Ready, Canvas, and Reflection.
- Document Security/ID and Print – In a continued effort to provide leading edge document security, Konica Minolta will be showcasing our ID and Print technology. Based on three user login options, User Credentials, Biometric Authentication and HID Proximity Cards, users can maintain document security, with the convenience of printed output. Documents are securely captured at the MFP, and released upon login only. Highlighted at ON DEMAND will be the latest offering in authentication technology from Konica Minolta, our HID Proximity Card interface, which is compatible with the majority of door access systems used in the US.
