Apparently, in Arizona, people have been taking a rather interesting step to try and get speed cameras thrown out of the state--they're not paying the tickets.

Seems that a lot of the tickets being issued from area cameras were getting thrown out after a less than publicized grace period--apparently, ...

Well surprise surprise sur-priiiise, as one marine private Gomer Pyle once was known to remark. Apparently Los Angeles found the pot of gold at the end of their rainbow! The thing about this is, the rainbow in question is all red and it's got a traffic camera mounted to the top of it.

If you're as blown away by the above prospect as I am, folks, it only gets weirder when you do the math. Three thousand speeders in forty five days is roughly sixty seven speeders a day. Every day. And that's just the people who got warning letters from the town of Farragut, Tennessee--the cameras recorded ...

Now, normally, in these sections I might bring up a new city or two, in the case of neighbors, that's getting in the traffic cameras, and lead in a discussion on people's reaction to these Orwellian monitors. But today's a bit different--we always like to mix it up around here. But anyway, here's the deal--seems ...

It's interesting to note that the idea of red light traffic cameras isn't limited to the United States--Australia's got their share of them too.
And the word is out from Queensland police commissioner Bob Atkinson that more of them are needed to restrain the rise in traffic accidents on Queensland roads. Apparently, the last time the ...

Got to keep them honest, folks, and there's nothing like a camera to do it. Especially in Chicago, where there are a LOT of such cameras. But this is about those wonderful red-light cameras that we're continually hearing about.
Now, you might think that an intersection where there are constant accidents might well benefit from the ...

I know, the headline pretty much sums it up, but that's kind of why you come here, isn't it? For fast and easy news about cameras of every stripe? Of course you do--that's why we called it Image Acquire, after all. And for Floridians, this is definitely news they want to hear about, even if ...
