HP DF820A4 Digital Photo Frame Review–Bargain Version
Well, kind of bargain version, anyway. See, the HP DF820A4 is a terrific piece because it’s a lot like the DF1200A1 we just discussed, but it’s a little less expensive and lacking a few things.
The HP DF820A4 is an eight inch digital photo frame with image resolution up to 800 x 600, five hundred and twelve megs of on board memory, internal speakers, eight different color options, clock display, calendar display, slideshow display and multi-picture display ability. It even comes with a remote control, and is compatible with Memory Stick PRO, Microdrive, MultiMediaCard, SD Memory Card, xD-Picture Card, and CompactFlash cards.
There’s a lot to like about this system–sure, it’s a bit smaller than its bigger brother, and it’s missing a few features, but it makes up for that on price. A hundred and twenty dollars gets you one of these little beauties, and it looks just as good as its bigger brother. The frame is a beautiful dark wood, again, I’m wondering if that’s mahogany or just an incredible simulation. And the pictures look terrific.
The HP DF820A4 may not be as nice as the DF1200A1, but it will do a terrific job of showing off your pictures. And in the end, isn’t that what you needed in the first place?
