Sony Alpha A330 Camera Review–More Camera Than Most Need

It’s always hard to scoff at a camera that does its job TOO well.  Much like anything else in life that’s too delicious or too helpful or too romantic or anything else, it’s hard to bring yourself to criticize because the sheer effort expended MUST be acknowledged.  But still, too much is too much, and in the case of the Sony Alpha A330, it’s still too much.

The Sony Alpha A330 is a ten megapixel DSLR camera with SteadyShot INSIDE in camera image stabilization; Eye-Start Autofocus systems, 2.7 inch LCD display, compatibility with high-capacity Memory Stick PRO Duo, Memory Stick PRO-HG Duo, SD and SDHC media, a built in pop up flash, and advanced anti-dust technology, and sufficient battery power for five hundred and ten shots.

Of course, this being a DSLR you can be relatively assured of two things: one, it’s built like a brick (this one definitely is) and two, it costs an arm and a leg (five hundred bucks on Amazon!).  The only real question at this point is, can you use it? Seriously, can you?

There’s a lot of functionality in the Sony Alpha A330, and if you want to get what you pay for and you’re willing to pay for a lot, then you’ll be incredibly happy with this. Otherwise, there are many smaller cameras out there.
